Mutualmar was established in 2006 as the Greek affiliate Company of Mutual Marine Services Ltd., Korea which was founded in 1988 by the shipbroker BS Kim. Mutual Marine Services Ltd., with offices in Seoul and Pusan, is active in dry cargo chartering, port agency and represents the "Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association (Bermuda) Limited" (www.simsl.com) in Korea. It is also a member of BIMCO, the Korean Shipbrokers Association and a shipping agent for Del Monte Fresh Produce. In 2006 we celebrated the opening of our new offices in Piraeus, Greece. The Greek branch headed by Mr. BS Kim, is fully staffed with hard working and experienced Greek and Korean personnel, ready to provide the link between Korean and Greek accounts and to make available the best quality shipbroking service to the shipping community.
Our company, based in Piraeus, aims to have strong foothold in the Greek market but also seeks to develop and maintain its relationship with many foreign clients on a world wide basis. We are able to provide a full range of shipbroking services, including but not limited to, chartering, sale & purchase of secondhand ships, placing of newbuilding orders and of course sale of ships for demolition. Additionally, we are ready to cover our clients' needs in the fields of ship valuations, due diligence reports, market analysis, research and consultancy.
We deal with all types of ships and can also offer assistance with technical matters, pre-purchase surveys, class records reviews, generally attending all shipping business matters, worldwide, always safeguarding your interests at very competitive prices.
Most importantly, we can develop project business structures encompassing arrangement of long term employment, sometimes up to the vessel's lifetime.
